Doncaster Racecourse car boot sale
seeks new home

The multi-million pound redevelopment of Doncaster Racecourse has meant an end to the popular car boot sales previously held there on Suinday mornings.

The Doncaster Racecourse boot sale was one of the biggest in South Yorkshire with 350 or more stalls and a 58 pitch market.

"We had to leave the car boot site due to the development works now taking place on the site," Jonathan Clarke of the Markets Department told boot-fairs.co.uk

"We are still looking for a new site. In the meantime we are starting a Secondhand Market on Doncaster Market from the first Sunday in May 2007."
