Fontwell Park boot fair wins reprieve
The popular Sunday boot fair at Fontwell Park Racecourse, near Chichester, has won a reprieve thanks to hundreds of disgruntled boot fair goers.
The boot fair was in danger of closure after 16 years when it was announced that the current operators had decided to cease operating at the West Sussex venue.
However when hundreds of boot fair regulars phoned the racecourse to complain, the management decided to run the car boot sale themselves from Sunday the 5th of November. It will continue to operate between 7am and 2pm.
