What has happened to Ingliston Sunday Market?
The Sunday market that took place at the Royal Highland Showground at Ingleston near Edinburgh airport closed in September 2005. In its heyday it was one of the biggest open air markets in Europe, with more than 2,700 stalls selling new and used items. It first opened in 1973 and attracted huge crowds during the summer. So now you know. |
