Thursday evening boot fairs spell end to early morning starts in Ulverston!

For those who can't bear the thought of those early Sunday morning starts, the news that the Ford Park Community Group in Ulverston is to hold Thursday evening boot sales will be music to your ears.

"We don't want to clash with other local boot sales and not everyone likes to get up at the crack of dawn," boot sale organiser, Wendy Kolbe, told the North West Evening Mail. "This is a great opportunity to have a good clear-out and make some extra cash."

The first of the Thursday evening car boot sales will be on the 3rd of May 2007 from 6pm until dark and they will then be held weekly until the end of the summer. Full details are on the Cumbria boot fairs page.
